Right-of-way, in our industry, means the property rights needed for infrastructure projects.
Not roadside mowing or maintenance.
Right-of-way services refer to the acquisition and coordination of property rights needed for infrastructure projects, such as waterlines, sewer lines, drainage improvements, access routes, road projects, and utility corridors. In this context, right-of-way does not refer to mowing, landscaping, or roadside maintenance. Kelley-Brown Land Services assists with easement acquisition, landowner coordination, title research, and project-related property rights.
Right-of-way is a general term for property rights used for roads, utilities, drainage, access, or other infrastructure improvements.
State right-of-way generally refers to property controlled by the State of Texas or TxDOT, such as highway right-of-way. Projects involving state right-of-way may require additional TxDOT coordination, permitting, utility accommodation review, and traffic control planning.
